Simulate Dual Color FCS and PCH Data

This applet will allow you to simulate FCS data with molecules of different brightnesses in two detection channels. You can then analyze the data using standard FCS and PCH fitting methods.

Details about the Simulation

The simulation takes place in a 3.2 µm box. The beam radial waist is 0.17 µm with an axial dimension of 0.7 µm. The number of frames will always be truncated to a power of 2 for expediated processing. The other parameters are, for the most part, self-explanatory. Note that java applets are by nature limited because of memory restrictions. For more thorough simulations and analysis see the software link to the right.
